Related Product Information for anti-FGR antibody
FGR is a member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases (PTKs). This protein contains N-terminal sites for myristylation and palmitylation, a PTK domain, and SH2 and SH3 domains which are involved in mediating protein-protein interactions with phosphotyrosine-containing and proline-rich motifs, respectively. It localizes to plasma membrane ruffles, and functions as a negative regulator of cell migration and adhesion triggered by the beta-2 integrin signal transduction pathway. Infection with Epstein-Barr virus results in the overexpression of this protein.

Product Notes

The FGR fgr (Catalog #AAA285598) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 3-33. The FGR Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FGR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FGR fgr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FGR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
