Related Product Information for anti-HAX1 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is known to associate
with hematopoietic cell-specific Lyn substrate 1, a substrate of
Src family tyrosine kinases. It also interacts with the product of
the polycystic kidney disease 2 gene, mutations in which are
associated with autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease, and
with the F-actin-binding protein, cortactin. It was earlier thought
that this gene product is mainly localized in the mitochondria,
however, recent studies indicate it to be localized in the cell
body. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal recessive severe
congenital neutropenia, also known as Kostmann disease. Two
transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for
this gene.

Product Notes

The HAX1 hax1 (Catalog #AAA287145) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 161-190. The HAX1 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HAX1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HAX1 hax1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HAX1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
