ChIP (Chromatin Immunoprecipitation)

(HIF-1 alpha antibody (pAb) tested by ChIP. ChIP was performed using the ChIP-IT High Sensitivity Kit with 5 ul of HIF-1 alpha antibody and 25 ug of chromatin from hypoxic Huh7 cells. ChIP DNA was used in qPCR with the control primer pairs or gene-specific primer pairs as indicated. Data are presented as Binding Events Detected per 1000 Cells using Epigenetic Services normalization scheme which accounts for primer efficiency and the amount of chromatin used in the ChIP reaction.)

Related Product Information for anti-HIF-1alpha antibody
Short Description: Our HIF-1 alpha antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation, ChIP-Seq and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human samples.

Background: Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF1) is a transcription factor involved in the regulation of oxygen homeostasis. It regulates the physiological responses to low oxygen levels (hypoxia) and the pathophysiology of heart attack, cancer, stroke and chronic lung disease. HIF-1 is a heterodimeric protein that consists of two subunits, HIF-1 alpha and HIF-1 beta (also known as ARNT1, the aryl hydrocarbon nuclear translocator). While HIF-1 beta is constitutively expressed, the expression of HIF-1 alpha is induced by oxygen concentrations below 6%. Heterodimerization is required to bind the hypoxia response element (HRE).

Product Notes

The HIF-1alpha hif1a (Catalog #AAA59909) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HIF-1 alpha antibody (pAb) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HIF-1 alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), ChIP (Chromatin immunoprecipitation), ChIP (Chromatin immunoprecipitation). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HIF-1alpha hif1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HIF-1 alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
