Related Product Information for anti-HLA-DPB1 antibody
HLA-DPB belongs to the HLA class II beta chain paralogues.
This class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha
(DPA) and a beta chain (DPB), both anchored in the membrane. It
plays a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides
derived from extracellular proteins. Class II molecules are
expressed in antigen presenting cells (APC: B lymphocytes,
dendritic cells, macrophages). The beta chain is approximately
26-28 kDa and its gene contains 6 exons. Exon one encodes the
leader peptide, exons 2 and 3 encode the two extracellular domains,
exon 4 encodes the transmembrane domain and exon 5 encodes the
cytoplasmic tail. Within the DP molecule both the alpha chain and
the beta chain contain the polymorphisms specifying the peptide
binding specificities, resulting in up to 4 different molecules.

Product Notes

The HLA-DPB1 hla-dpb1 (Catalog #AAA288459) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 77-105. The HLA-DPB1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HLA-DPB1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HLA-DPB1 hla-dpb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HLA-DPB1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
