Related Product Information for anti-KDM6B antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for KDM6B/JMJD3 detection. Tested with WB, FCM, Direct ELISA in Human;Mouse.
Background: Lysine demethylase 6B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KDM6B gene. It is mapped to 17p13.1. The protein encoded by this gene is a lysine-specific demethylase that specifically demethylates di- or tri-methylated lysine 27 of histone H3 (H3K27me2 or H3K27me3). H3K27 trimethylation is a repressive epigenetic mark controlling chromatin organization and gene silencing. This protein can also demethylate non-histone proteins such as retinoblastoma protein. Through its demethylation actvity this gene influences cellular differentiation and development, tumorigenesis, inflammatory diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. This protein has two classical nuclear localization signals at its N-terminus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Product Notes
The KDM6B kdm6b (Catalog #AAA125423) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-KDM6B/JMJD3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KDM6B/JMJD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (Direct ELISA), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KDM6B kdm6b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KDM6B/JMJD3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
