Related Product Information for anti-NRM antibody
NRM (Nurim) is a Protein Coding gene. The protein encoded by this gene contains transmembrane domains and resides within the inner nuclear membrane (INM), where it is tightly associated with the nucleus. Nurim is a multispanning membrane protein without large hydrophilic domains that is very tightly associated with the nucleus. Unlike the known nuclear envelope (NE) membrane proteins, it is neither associated with nuclear pores nor targeted like lamin-associated membrane proteins. This protein shares homology with isoprenylcysteine carboxy methyltransferase enzymes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms. Nurim lacks an N-terminal domain characteristic of other INM proteins examined to date and may represent a class of proteins that localize to the INM by a distinct mechanism.

Product Notes

The NRM nrm (Catalog #AAA255102) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NRM/Nurim Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human Predicted to React with: Pig (Species predicted to react based on 100% sequence homology) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NRM/Nurim can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IP (Immunoprecipitation), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NRM nrm for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NRM/Nurim, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
