Related Product Information for anti-PPP1CC antibody
Protein phosphatase 1, catalytic subunit, gamma isozyme (PPP1CC) participates in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Using fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) method, a gene encoding the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase type 1 gamma (PPP1CC) was mapped to human 12q24.1-q24.2, rat 7 q22, and mouse 10C. These results indicate that the PPP1CC is a member of the conserved synteny group between rat chromosome 7, mouse chromosome 10, and human chromosome 12. The Ppp1cc gene encodes two alternatively spliced variants, PP1 gamma1 (PPP1CC1) and PP1 gamma2 (PPP1CC2). Global deletion of the Ppp1cc gene, which causes loss of both isoforms, results in male infertility due to impaired spermatogenesis. This phenotype was assumed to be due to the loss of PPP1CC2, which is abundant in testis. While PPP1CC2 is predominant, other PP1 isoforms are also expressed in testis.

Product Notes

The PPP1CC ppp1cc (Catalog #AAA255107) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-PPP1CC Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human Predicted to React with: Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Xenopus tropicalis (Species predicted to react based on 100% sequence homology) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PPP1CC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPP1CC ppp1cc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PPP1CC, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
