Specificity
Phospho-RYR3 (Ser160) Antibody detects endogenous levels of RYR3 only when phosphorylated at Ser160.
Tissue Specificity: Brain, skeletal muscle, placenta and possibly liver and kidney. In brain, highest levels are found in the cerebellum, hippocampus, caudate nucleus and amygdala, with lower levels in the corpus callosum, substantia nigra and thalamus.
Purity/Purification
The antibody is from purified rabbit serum by affinity purification via sequential chromatography on phospho-peptide and non-phospho-peptide affinity columns.

Applicable Applications for anti-RYR3 antibody
ELISA (Peptide ELISA), WB (Western Blot)
Immunogen
A synthesized peptide derived from human RYR3 around the phosphorylation site of Ser160.
Conjugation
Unconjugated
Fragment
Fab fragment
Subunit Structure
Homotetramer. Heterotetramer with RYR2. Interacts with CALM (By similarity). Interacts with FKBP1A. Interacts with SELENON (By similarity).
Similarity
The calcium release channel activity resides in the C-terminal region while the remaining part of the protein resides in the cytoplasm.Belongs to the ryanodine receptor (TC 1.A.3.1) family. RYR3 subfamily.
Subcellular Location
Sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane>Multi-pass membrane protein. Membrane>Multi-pass membrane protein. Microsome membrane>Multi-pass membrane protein. Sarcoplasmic reticulum.
Note: The number of predicted transmembrane domains varies between orthologs, but both N-terminus and C-terminus seem to be cytoplasmic.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months from date of receipt.

Related Product Information for anti-RYR3 antibody
Calcium channel that mediates the release of Ca (2+) from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cytoplasm in muscle and thereby plays a role in triggering muscle contraction. May regulate Ca (2+) release by other calcium channels. Calcium channel that mediates Ca (2+)-induced Ca (2+) release from the endoplasmic reticulum in non-muscle cells. Contributes to cellular calcium ion homeostasis (By similarity). Plays a role in cellular calcium signaling.

Product Notes

The RYR3 ryr3 (Catalog #AAA329409) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-RYR3 (Ser160) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse Predicted Reactivity: Pig (100%), Zebrafish (100%), Bovine (100%), Horse (100%), Sheep (100%), Dog (100%), Chicken (100%) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RYR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (Peptide ELISA), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RYR3 ryr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RYR3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
