Target Description: The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). TAP1 is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. TAP1 is involved in the pumping of degraded cytosolic peptides across the endoplasmic reticulum into the membrane-bound compartment where class I molecules assemble. The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. Product Notes
The TAP1 tap1 (Catalog #AAA199290) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TAP1 antibody - middle region reacts with Tested Species Reactivity: Human Predicted Species Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat, Cow, Guinea Pig, Horse, Rabbit, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TAP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TAP1 tap1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: LVTFVLYQMQ FTQAVEVLLS IYPRVQKAVG SSEKIFEYLD RTPRCPPSGL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TAP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
