Description: Biotin-conjugated Thyroid stimulating hormone, beta Antibody C-epitope
Overview: The pituitary hormones, leutinizing hormone (lutropin, LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (follitropin, FSH) as well as related placental hormones, chorionic gonadotropin and CG, are referred to as gonadotropic hormones becuase of their acstion on gonad cells. Because of their similar structure and composition and glycoprotein nature, LH, TSH, GC and FSH, these hormones are often referred to as glycoprotein hormones. These hormones are heterodimeric in nature composed of two un-identical subunits, alpha and beta, which are non-covalently associated. Among humans and other species, the Alpha subunit is identical for all these hormones and is coded by a single gene, where is beta subunits are distinct but not homologous and arise from separate genes. The individual hormone subunits and peptides derived from them have shown some binding activities to their respective receptors, the association of alpha and beta subunits clearly is required for optimal activation and physiological responses elicited by these hormones. Within the heterodimeric hormones, the beta subunit confers binding activity to its respective receptor.
The TSH beta-selective antibodies were generated against a sequence within amino acid region 1-50 on human TSH beta protein. The antibodies to TSH beta can be conjugated to fluorophores and other secondary enzymes as an additional service. Western blot positive control in ready-to-use SDS-sample buffer and antigenic blocking peptides are available. Please inquire.

Product Notes
The TSH tshb (Catalog #AAA226314) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TSH beta Antibody BIOTIN-Conjugated reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TSH beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IP (Immunoprecipitation), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), ELISA, CM (Confocal Microscopy). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TSH tshb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TSH beta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
