PARP1 (Poly-ADP-ribose polymerase 1) is a member of PARP family of enzymes that transfer the ADP-D-ribosyl group of NAD(+) to an acceptor carboxyl group on proteins. PARP1 catalyzes the poly-ADP-ribosylation of histone and non-histone proteins in response to DNA damage. The over-activation of PARP-1 in response to DNA damage has been shown to promote cell and tissue injury. AAA Biotech's PARP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000 IHC: 1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections. ICC: 1:100 to 1:500. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for FFPE cell sections. FC/FACS: Fixed in 4% formaldehyde and permeabilized with 90% methanol. 1 ul per 1 x 10^6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PARP1 parp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PARP1, Monoclonal Recombinant Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage.
