Ig-like C2
Host Note
Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human extracellular domain of human IL-3 receptor alpha chain including a C-terminal His tag was expressed in HEK293 cells.
Biological Activity
Recombinant Human IL-3 receptor alpha activity was measured using Immobilized human IL3 at 20ug/ml ability to bind biotinylated human IL3RA with a linear ranger of 0.32 - 1.6ug/ml
Molecular Weight Note
Recombinant IL-3RA (CD123) is a protein consisting of 298 amino acid residue subunits, due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 50 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level
Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug)
Preparation and Storage
Recombinant Human IL3RA can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree - 8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C to -70 degree C for twelve months.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for IL3RA active protein
CD123 is an α subunit of a heterodimer IL-3 receptor, a member of the cytokine receptor superfamily. It is a 70 kDa protein, which binds IL-3 with high specificity but with low affinity. CD123 is encoded by the IL-3a gene, located in the pseudo-autosomal region (PAR) at the ends of the short arms of the X and Y chromosomes, B-lymphoid blasts from acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) have been shown to express functional CD123 and CD40 ligand stimulates proliferation of precursor-B (pre-B) ALL by upregulating CD123 expression.

Product Notes
The IL3RA il3ra (Catalog #AAA76117) is an Active Protein produced from HEk293 Cells (Host protein expression may be lot-specific and can be subject to change during production, including bulk orders) and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-3 receptor (CD123), Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
