Specificity
This antibody binds human cytokeratin 20. Cytokeratins are intermediate filaments found in the intracytoplasmic cytoskeleton of epithelial tissue. There are 19 keratin polypeptides are found in human epithelium. Cytokeratin 20 plays a significant role in maintaining keratin filament organization in intestinal epithelia. When phosphorylated, it plays a role in the secretion of mucin in the small intestine.

WB (Western Blot)
(Western blot using anti-Cytokeratin 20 antibody 10A2 . Human duodenum (A) (0.01ug/ml), ileum (B) (0.001ug/ml), and colon (C) (0.001ug/ml) tissue lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved on an SDS-PAGE gel, and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of 10A2 (AAA72385) at the mentioned respective concentrations before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1 hour was used, and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.)
WB (Western Blot)
