Biological Significance
ATP6V1B1 is a component of vacuolar ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme that mediates acidification ofeukaryotic intracellular organelles. V-ATPase dependent organelle acidification is necessary for such intracellular processes as protein sorting, zymogen activation, receptor-mediated endocytosis, and synaptic vesicle proton gradient generation. V-ATPase is composed of a cytosolic V1 domain and a transmembrane V0 domain. The V1 domain consists ofthree A and three B subunits, two G subunits plus the C, D, E, F, and H subunits. The V1 domain contains the ATPcatalytic site. The V0 domain consists of five different subunits: a, c, c', c'', and d.
Cross-Reactivity
Human
Immunogen
ATP6V1B1 antibody was raised in mouse using a full length recombinant protein of human ATP6V1B1 (NP_001683) produced in HEK293T cells, as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Product Notes

The ATP6V1B1 atp6v1b1 (Catalog #AAA106425) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's ATP6V1B1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IF (Immunofluorescence), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP6V1B1 atp6v1b1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATP6V1B1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
