Related Product Information for anti-HLA-DRA antibody
HLA-DRA is one of the HLA class II alpha chain paralogues. This class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha and a beta chain, both anchored in the membrane. This molecule is expressed on the surface of various antigen presenting cells such as B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, and monocytes/macrophages, and plays a central role in the immune system and response by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins, in particular, pathogen-derived peptides to T cells. The alpha chain is approximately 33-35 kDa and its gene contains 5 exons. Exon 1 encodes the leader peptide, exons 2 and 3 encode the two extracellular domains, and exon 4 encodes the transmembrane domain and the cytoplasmic tail. DRA does not have polymorphisms in the peptide binding part and acts as the sole alpha chain for DRB1, DRB3, DRB4 and DRB5.

Product Notes

The HLA-DRA hla-dra (Catalog #AAA28590) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HLA-DR Rabbit PolymAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HLA-DR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000-1:4000 IHC-P: 1:400-1:4000 IF/ICC: 1:200-1:800 ELISA: Recommended starting concentration is 1ug/mL. Please optimize the concentration based on your specific assay requirements. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HLA-DRA hla-dra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: KRSNYTPITN VPPEVTVLTN SPVELREPNV LICFIDKFTP PVVNVTWLRN GKPVTTGVSE TVFLPREDHL FRKFHYLPFL PSTEDVYDCR VEHWGLDEPL L. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HLA-DR, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
