Preparation and Storage
This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20 degree C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8 degree C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20 degree C.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.

Related Product Information for anti-RAGE antibody
Mouse anti Human RAGE antibody, clone A09-5H8, recognizes Receptor for Advanced Glycosylation End products (RAGE), also known as advanced glycosylation end product-specific receptor.
RAGE is a multi-ligand receptor belonging to the immunoglobulin receptor subfamily. It has many endogenous and exogenous ligands and upon binding of a ligand, RAGE can stimulate various signaling pathways including NF-kappaB, AP-1, CREB and STAT3. Triggering these pathways can then induce cytokine/chemokine transcription (Sorci et al. 2013). This can be used to regulate the innate immune response, inflammation resolution, tissue homeostasis and tissue repair following injury (Plotkin et al. 2019).
The biotinylated Mouse anti Human RAGE antibody, clone A09-5H8 can be used as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with the purified Mouse anti Human RAGE antibody, clone B02-4G7 as the capture antibody.

Product Notes
The RAGE ager (Catalog #AAA50429) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti Human RAGE:Biotin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RAGE can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RAGE ager for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RAGE, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
