Related Product Information for anti-CCR5 antibody
When expressed intracellularly, this antibody is able to inhibit the surface expression of human CCR5, conferring T-lymphocytes with immunity to CCR5-dependent HIV-1 infection (Steinberger et al, 2000). Humanised ST6 (ST6/34) also has the same depleting effect (Steinberger et al, 2000). The high affinity of this antibody for CCR5-N-MBP has been confirmed in surface plasmon resonance analysis (Steinberg et al, 2000). This antibody has been used to stain CCR5-expressing cells in flow cytometry, with no staining of control cells observed (Steinberger et al, 2000).

Product Notes

The CCR5 ccr5 (Catalog #AAA72266) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CCR5 [ST6], Mouse IgG1 reacts with Human, rhesus macaque and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCR5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance), ELISA, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCR5 ccr5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCR5, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
