Related Product Information for anti-CDH1 antibody
E Cadherin antibody is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to E Cadherin (CDH1)(C-Terminus) from human. It is reactive with human, rat, bovine and other species. Validated for Flow, ICC, IF, IHC, IP and WB.
E-cadherin (CDH1) is a calcium-depending glycoprotein that is involved in cell to cell adhesion and is expressed on the surface of epithelial tissues. Loss of e-cadherin is associated with decreased cell adhesion, increased cellular motility, invasion and poor prognosis in carcinomas, particularly lobular carcinomas of the breast. In immunohistochemistry, e-cadherin is positive in normal breast ducts, the epithelium of the GI tract, hepatocytes and bile ducts. In cancer, it is positive in breast ductal carcinoma (but not lobular), esophageal adenocarcinoma and squamous carcinoma, and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.

Product Notes

The CDH1 cdh1 (Catalog #AAA21351) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDH1/E Cadherin Rabbit anti-Human Polyclonal (C-Terminus) Antibody reacts with Zebrafish, Pig, Rat, Rabbit, Dog, Bovine, Human, Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDH1/E Cadherin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDH1 cdh1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDH1/E Cadherin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
