Related Product Information for anti-DAD1 antibody
Defender of cell death 1 (DAD1) was initially discovered in BHK21 cells as a negative regulator of programmed cell death, a process important for normal organism development and tissue homeostasis. DAD1 was later shown to be a subunit of the mammalian oligosaccharyltransferase complex and is required for its function and structural integrity. Mice lacking DAD1 express abnormal N-linked glycoproteins and undergo increased apoptotic-associated embryonic death. Furthermore, overexpression of DAD1 mRNA is seen in some human hepatocellular carcinomas, indicating it may also play a role in carcinogenesis. It should be noted that DAD1 is not related to the inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAP) family and does not contain any baculoviral IAP repeat (BIR) domains.

Product Notes
The DAD1 dad1 (Catalog #AAA302177) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DAD1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DAD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DAD1 dad1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DAD1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
