Related Product Information for anti-RBL1 antibody
RBL1 (RB Transcriptional Corepressor Like 1) is a Protein Coding gene. The RBL1 gene, located on 20q11.23, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, C.elegans, A.thaliana, rice, and frog. The protein encoded by this gene is similar in sequence and possibly function to the product of the retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) gene. Both the RB1 protein and the product of this gene can form a complex with adenovirus E1A protein and SV40 large T-antigen, with the SV40 large T-antigen binding only to the unphosphorylated form of each protein. Also, both proteins can inhibit the transcription of cell cycle genes containing E2F binding sites in their promoters. RB1 is widely expressed in the lymph node, bone marrow, and other tissues. Diseases associated with RBL1 include Retinoblastoma and Bilateral Retinoblastoma.

Product Notes

The RBL1 (Catalog #AAA256413) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-RBL1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RBL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RBL1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RBL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
