Preparation and Storage

ZNF24 is a member of the SCAN domain family of Kruppel-like zinc finger (ZF) transcription factors, which play a critical role in cell proliferation and differentiation. ZNF24 has been demonstrated to regulate proliferation, differentiation, and migration as well as invasion in several types of cells. ZNF24 plays an essential role in modulating the angiogenic potential of microvascular endothelial cells (ECs) by regulating the proliferation, migration, and invasion of these cells. ZNF24 is involved in the negative regulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and may represent a novel repressor of VEGF transcription. ZNF24 also promoted cell proliferation in prostate cancer (PCa). ZNF24 acted as an oncogene and promoted migration, invasion, and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of PCa cells via the regulation of Twist1.
