Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of DHX58. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between DHX58 and analogues was observed. NOTE: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross-reactivity detection between DHX58 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist in some cases.

Related Product Information for DHX58 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: DHX58 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-DHX58 antibody and an DHX58-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with DHX58-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the DHX58 concentration since DHX58 from samples and DHX58-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-DHX58 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by DHX58 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind DHX58-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The DHX58 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Intended Uses: This DHX58 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Porcine DHX58. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!

Product Notes

The Porcine DHX58 dhx58 (Catalog #AAA27287) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA27287 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine DHX58. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX58 (DHX58), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
