Related Product Information for anti-CD86 antibody
Mouse anti Rat CD86 antibody, clone 24F specifically recognizes rat CD86, otherwise known as B7-2, a type I transmembrane protein and member of the Ig superfamily, which acts as a ligand for both CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4), and is primarily expressed on antigen presenting cells (APCs) including dendritic cells, and also on germinal centre B cells and macrophages. Like CD80, CD86 is an accessory molecule which functions in the CD28-CD80/CD86 co-stimulatory pathway, vital for T cell activation, crosstalk between T and B cells, and Th2-mediated Ig production. Mouse anti Rat CD86 antibody, clone 24F has been shown to block the co-stimulatory activity of rat CD86.

Product Notes

The CD86 cd86 (Catalog #AAA12229) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD86 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD86 cd86 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD86, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
