Related Product Information for anti-ACTA1 antibody
The product encoded by this gene belongs to the actin family of proteins, which are highly conserved proteins that play a role in cell motility, structure and integrity. Alpha, beta and gamma actin isoforms have been identified, with alpha actins being a major constituent of the contractile apparatus, while beta and gamma actins are involved in the regulation of cell motility. This actin is an alpha actin that is found in skeletal muscle. Mutations in this gene cause nemaline myopathy type 3, congenital myopathy with excess of thin myofilaments, congenital myopathy with cores, and congenital myopathy with fiber-type disproportion, diseases that lead to muscle fiber defects. Product Notes

The ACTA1 acta1 (Catalog #AAA30818) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The alpha skeletal muscle actin Monoclonal Antibody (4B11) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's alpha skeletal muscle actin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-10000 IP: 1:200 IF: 1:200 IHC: 1:50-300. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACTA1 acta1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "alpha skeletal muscle actin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
