Related Product Information for anti-CCNT1 antibody
Cyclin T1 (CCNT1), a gene containing nine exons, forms the positive transcription elongation factor b (P-TEFb) complex and regulates a wide variety of biological processes including transcription. Scientists discovered a novel splice variant of CCNT1 that lacks exon 7 (dE7). dE7 regulates the expression and function of CCNT1. CCNT1 exon 7 was more frequently skipped in infected T-cells, leading to loss of the key Cyclin_N motif and affecting HIV-1 transcriptional elongation. Cells derived from mice and other rodents exhibit profound blocks to HIV-1 virion production, reflecting species-specific incompatibilities between viral Tat and Rev proteins and essential host factors cyclin T1 (CCNT1) and exportin-1 (XPO1, also known as CRM1), respectively.

Product Notes

The CCNT1 (Catalog #AAA256986) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Cyclin T1/CCNT1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cyclin T1/CCNT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCNT1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cyclin T1/CCNT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
