Related Product Information for anti-RELA antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Transcription factor p65(RELA) detection. Tested with WB in Human.
Background: Transcription factor p65, also known as NFKB3 or NF-kB p65, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RELA gene. It is mapped to 11q13.1. NFKB is an essential transcription factor complex involved in all types of cellular processes, including cellular metabolism, chemotaxis, etc, and it may play a role in inflammatory conditions of the peripheral nervous system. Phosphorylation and acetylation of NFKB3 are crucial post-translational modifications required for NFKB activation. It has also been shown to modulate immune responses, and activation of NFKB3 is positively associated with multiple types of cancer. In addition to that, NFKB3 antagonizes TNFR1-JNK proliferative signals in epidermis and plays a nonredundant role in restraining epidermal growth.

Product Notes
The RELA rela (Catalog #AAA45658) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NF-kB p65 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NF-kB p65 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RELA rela for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NF-kB p65, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
