Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C. Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20 degree C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.
Related Product Information for anti-Cit1810 antibody
RNA pol II CTD Cit1810 antibody (pAb) was raised in a Rabbit host. It has been validated for use in Dot blot, Immunoprecipitation and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human samples.
RNA pol II (RNA polymerase II) is responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. RNA pol II contains a carboxy terminal domain composed of heptapeptide repeats that are essential for polymerase activity. These repeats contain serine and threonine residues that are phosphorylated in actively transcribing RNA polymerase. In addition, RNA pol II, in combination with several other polymerase subunits, form the DNA binding domain of the polymerase, a groove in which the DNA template is transcribed into RNA. This antibody is specific for the deamination of arginine and its conversation to citrulline by peptidyl arginine deiminase 2 (PADI2), an enzyme that has been associated with several diseases, including cancer. Among the PADI family members, only PADI2 citrullinates R1810 (Cit1810) at repeat 31 of the CTD. Loss of R1810 result in increased amounts of RNAP2 at transcription start cites, reduce gene expression, and inhibits cell proliferation.

Product Notes
The Cit1810 polr2a (Catalog #AAA60352) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RNA pol II CTD Cit1810 antibody (pAb) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RNA pol II CTD Cit1810 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IP (Immunoprecipitation), DB (Dot Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cit1810 polr2a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RNA pol II CTD Cit1810, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
